Walnuts finely chopped
12 Klondike Ice Cream Sandwiches
16 oz Cool Whip
1 bag Semi-Sweet chocolate morsels
1 tsp Cocoa Powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
In a double boiler, melt the butter. Add the chocolate morsels and melt. Add the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Make sure you take your Cool Whip early enough so it softens enough to work with.
On a cake sheet arrange the first layer consisting of 6 ice cream bars. Top with the hot fudge and walnuts. Then top with a layer of cool whip. add a second layer of 6 ice cream bars and top with hot fudge and walnuts. Then cover the entire outside of the cake with cool whip. Garnish with walnuts or the topping of your desire.
